OVERVIEW

In line with Mr. Governor – Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu’s commitment to public service excellence, the Ministry of Establishments and Training designed the Lagos State Public Service Accelerator Program. The program is a comprehensive development program, designed to equip Lagos State Civil Servants (GL 12-14) with the leadership skills they need to excel in their roles and deliver exceptional service.

This program cultivates future civil service leaders by equipping them with a global perspective and adaptable tools. These skills will be instrumental in shaping effective public policies and services for the 21st century.

By leveraging a blend of faculty expertise, real-world case studies, and collaborative group work, the Lagos State Public Service Accelerator Program (PSAP) fosters the development of critical leadership, management, and administrative skills in participants.

This programme will:

• Increase efficiency and service delivery

• Embrace innovation and Adaptability

• Develop leaders who will guide, train, motivate and influence their subordinates, thereby setting them on the right path which will accelerate the achievement of a Greater Lagos.

OUR OBJECTIVES

FOSTERING A LEARNING COMMUNITY

The PSAP blends training and development opportunities to create a shared learning experience. This fosters collaboration and increases job satisfaction and commitment, ultimately leading to improved performance and productivity.

DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE LEADERS

The program will develop participants with emotional intelligence, conflict resolution skills, cybersecurity awareness skills, problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and financial literacy

DRIVING CHANGE

By equipping them with these skills, the program empowers them to effectively influence others, lead teams, pass on the learning and drive positive change within their ministries, departments, and agencies.
